Day 65 - Wandering (15 August)

An early start took as to Baba Rodkha, where a post-Rakhsan Bhandan programme was occurring. It was also, incidentally, Indian Independence Day. So everybody gets a holiday! After paying respects at the temple, we went visiting. I had my camera out today and was shooting all over the place.

Heavy rain over the past couple of days had blocked some roads to villages we wanted to get to, which meant that we had to renege on some promises to visit relatives. We went to see Didi Punni and Didi Kaka as well as my mum's aunt and some that my mum grew up with. Wandering through village alleys, we got saw as many people as we could. In the right-hand picture starting at the top row...Goram (nephew), my dad, my brother Aneel, niece Priti, my mum, Didi Kaka, brother Bablu and then me!!

The afternoon was spent chilling. We put a bicycle out as a net to play badminton. Then upped the ante and played in doubles, swapping raquets after each shot!
