After a relaxing lie-in and checking out of our hotel, we headed over to Wat Arun. It's a very nice temple which is decorated intricately (as are the surrounding buildings). Some statues that have been well adorned with mosaics.
This was followed by a trip to Wat Pho where the biggest reclining Buddah in the world can be found. It is enclosed in a building, so taking a full angle shot of it is not really possible!

Later we boarded the night train to Trang, where we intend on getting some time out on one of the Islands. The Island that we wanted to go to, Ko Lao Liang, was closed for low season, so we have decided to wing it and see what we can find when we get there! We did treat ourselves to first class on the sleeper train (still only £24 for a 15 hour journey!), though it was longer after the train left a horrendous one and a half hours late! The train was bouncy, but we had power, a sink, and the meal we ordered on board was delicious as far as train meals go!
