Last night, we took the overnight train from St Petersburg to Moscow. Only after Alex, Eva and I tried some more local food. Alex managed an excellent Goulash, while Eva and I were disappointed that the chicken pies we ordered were actually dry bread with a "scrambled" chicken filling! The train we all caught was the best one yet... train number 050! Though it was a 3rd class open carriage (picture below). We had a good location because some of the carriages smelled. Due to a passport issue, Alex ended up with on his own with some Russians!Moscow mostly involved Red Square and the Kremlin. The number of cathedrals and churches in the complex, and the amount of gold on display was astonishing!
