Today was a very tiring but rewarding day. After some more insight from Vika, walking along Nevsky Prospekt, before Alex, Eva, Dennis and I headed to the Hermitage Museum and Winter Palace. What a place! A massive collection of works from many masters. Favourite areas included Pissaro, Monet, Picasso, Indian Art and much more! The palace itself was amazing inside:
Eva and I followed this 3 hour epic experience (very hungrily) by attempting to eat at a local Russian Bistro. The menu translations were most amusing, as you can see below! We combined this with taking in St Isaac's Cathedral, some markets and the Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood!
