Minsk does look promising in terms of wide avenues for walking. Let's see how I fare tomorrrow, and how much more I get looked at as the only brown person in town! It does seem to be polite curiosity however - Most people in Minsk have been most polite and helpful.
Before bed, I had some traditional Belaurussian fare (which amounts to Russian fayre!), which was very hearty, filling and spankingly delicious! I recommend the restaurant Traktir na Parkavoi.
