Day 23 - Ulaanbataar

So here it is, on the left, the lovely hostel... but don't judge a book by its cover... it's amazing on the inside!

We wondered into the city centre to see a monastery - they are becoming increasingly prevalent! We were lucky to find some monks inside practising and chanting for a ceremony.

We also went to the National History Museum, where there was a lot to learn about the history of Mongolia. Unfortunately, the entire Ghengis Khan section was closed!!! Although, the people here seem far more interested in Chengis Khan.

Tomorrow we are off to the Hustain National Park to spot Takhi horses, and then to stay with a family in their Ger tent....In the meantime, here's a picture of a street in Ulaanbataar.
